Westside Discs
Westside Discs opened in 2003 as an importer and dealer of equipment from other disc golf manufacturers in Finland. In 2009, they started producing their own discs in collaboration with Latitude 64 and since then they have released a number of new molds every year. Westside Discs was acquired by Dynamic Discs and Latitude 64 in 2017, but continues to exist as an independent brand.
Westside Discs plastic types
Westside disc has three primary types of plastic which are BT, VIP and Tournament. BT comes in both a soft, medium and hard version, as it is known from many other basic plastic types. Both VIP and Tournament plastic are premium plastic. The VIP plastic is an incredibly durable and transparent plastic that wears very slowly, while Tournament is more grippy and a little easier to wear over time.
