Fission Hex

Hex is a popular midrange from Axiom which is designed for straight throws. It can be used by players of all levels and is easy to throw for both beginners and advanced players. Hex is particularly known for giving its name to Simon Lizotte's first signature disc when he changed sponsorship to MVP, which is part of the group behind Axiom.

In Fission, you get a disc based on MVP's Microbubble technology, where small air bubbles are placed in the center of the disc. It allows you to get more weight out of the rim on the disc. The technology is also used to make lightweight discs which are good for the long throws into a tailwind or on calm days, or for players who don't throw with so much power.
