A stable fairway driver with solid control

The FD2 is Discmania's straight to overstable fairway driver, and with the Peacekeeper, Alden Harris puts his name on it for the second time in his Signature Series, following two releases of the Solar Flare in FD3. This edition is molded in Horizon C-line, a two-tone plastic with a soft color transition across the top of the disc. Compared to the heftier FD3, the FD2 sits a notch lower in stability without giving up any control.

The FD2 flies straight before settling into a dependable fade at the finish. It holds up well in windy conditions, and with a bit of hyzer or anhyzer you can shape controlled lines, whether you've got wide open fairways or a tight gap between the trees to thread. It works well on both backhand and forehand, and it doesn't demand heavy power to fly true, making it a solid pick for players at any level.
