Big Z Colorshift Dawn of the Barela Cigarra

Overstable fairway driver with Dawn of the Barela horror artwork

The Cigarra is Anthony Barela's signature disc with Discraft, developed as an overstable take on the Cicada. Dawn of the Barela is a special edition in Big Z Colorshift, where artist Brian Allen pulls Barela into a horror world inspired by a classic film series. The design is finished with a triple foil stamp.

It flies just like the standard Cigarra. Built to resist torque, it stays stable on powerful backhand and forehand throws before finishing with a reliable fade. That makes it a solid choice for controlled drives on tight fairways, throws into a headwind and lines where you need to trust the finish.

Big Z Colorshift is a version of Discraft's Big Z plastic where the colors shift with the light, giving the disc a different look depending on the angle. The plastic is firm and durable with good grip, so it keeps its flight for a long time.
