Fission Dimension

An overstable distance driver that is easier to get up to speed

The Dimension is a fast distance driver from MVP, built for full power throws and a predictable flight. In Fission plastic it comes in lower weights than MVP's other plastics, and that changes how it behaves in the air.

Thrown with full power, the Dimension flies straight with no turn and finishes with a strong, reliable fade. Because a lighter disc is easier to get up to speed, you reach the straight part of the flight sooner before the fade kicks in. That can add a little extra distance, even on throws where you are not at full power. The lower weight makes the disc slightly more sensitive to wind, but the overstable mold keeps it firmly on track into a headwind. The Dimension works well on hyzer lines and powerful forehands, where it holds up against torque, and it suits players with good arm speed.

Fission is MVP's lightweight plastic. The core is Neutron filled with tiny, evenly distributed air bubbles that you cannot feel but that bring the weight down. Around the core sits MVP's GYRO overmold, a rim made from a denser plastic. With more of the weight at the edge, the spin stays more stable, which is why the Dimension keeps its overstable character despite the low weight. The disc feels solid in the hand and is durable.
