Dye your discs with one of the most widely used dyes for disc dyeing

Pro Chemical & Dye is one of the most well-known names in disc dyeing. The dye comes in a wide range of colors and is used by dyers all over the world to create unique designs on discs. Each container holds 28 grams, which is enough for multiple dye jobs.

The dye penetrates the plastic and delivers intense, long-lasting colors that hold their vibrancy over time. It works best on premium plastics in white or light colors, such as Star, ESP, and Champion. The end result depends on technique, medium, and disc color. Pro Chem dyes can be mixed together, opening up almost endless color combinations.

The process is straightforward: mix the dye with shaving cream, lotion, or coconut oil in a tray, place the disc on top, and let it sit for up to 24 hours. The longer it sits, the more intense the color. Rinse the disc under cold water and wipe dry. Instructions are available on the Pro Chemical & Dye website, and color swatches are provided as a reference, though these were created on fabric and shades may vary slightly on plastic.

Why many choose Pro Chemical & Dye

  • One of the most widely used and trusted dyes for disc dyeing
  • Rich, durable colors that penetrate the plastic and stand the test of time
  • Works for swirls, shaving cream dye, lotion dye, and much more
  • 28 grams per container, enough for many dye jobs
  • Available in over 50 colors that can be mixed to create your own shades

Give your discs a personal touch

Disc dyeing is one of the most enjoyable ways to put your personal stamp on your gear. With Pro Chemical & Dye you can experiment with swirls, patterns, and multi-color designs. Start with a white disc for the best results, and use our blog series on disc dyeing for inspiration and guidance.

Pro Chemical & Dye for other uses

The dye works for far more than disc golf discs. It bonds to polyester, nylon, and most types of plastic, and many people use it to breathe new life into everything from 3D prints and buttons to toys and figurines. We are happy to advise on disc dyeing, but for other uses we recommend consulting the manufacturer directly at prochemicalanddye.com.
